Rams, Chargers set dates for joint practices in August

On Aug. 1, the Rams will visit the Chargers at the Jack Hammett Sports Complex in Costa Mesa, Calif. Two days later on Aug. 3, the Chargers will head to UC Irvine to practice at the Rams’ facility.

They won’t play each other in the preseason, so this is a good way for two Super Bowl contenders to match wits on the practice field before the real games begin a month later.
