That’s a lot of football, and during a recent interview after practice, Whitworth revealed how he keeps things fresh after all those years. He emphasized that even at his age “it’s a work in progress.”
“You’re always trying to find a way to get better, find that little thing that you can improve in yourself and it’s no different,” he said. “I always, every year, come back and say ‘hey sometimes you got to reinvent things reset your techniques reset things you work on’ and just have little tiny things each day to try and accomplish.”
