Cooper Kupp among PFF's top Comeback Player of the Year candidates


Cooper Kupp was on his way to having a tremendous second NFL season in 2018 before it was sadly derailed by a knee injury. He was limited to just eight games after tweaking his knee in Week 6 and then tearing his ACL in Week 10 against the Seahawks. In his first six games, he had 30 catches for 438 yards and five touchdowns, catching 73.2 percent of the passes that came his way.

He’s expected to be ready for the start of the season and assuming he’s healthy, he should be among the top candidates to win Comeback Player of the Year. That’s the way Pro Football Focus sees it, ranking him among the top 10 players vying for that very award in 2019.
