I'm thinking we'll go CB for a couple of reasons:
1. Obviously Peters & Talib's contract situation. I can't believe we'll have the cap room to keep one or both, and Talib is 33. And let's be honest, the defense suffered when we had our depth filling in for an injured Talib. There isn't a future starter in our CB depth.
2. Troy Hill hasn't signed his tender yet. Did the team tell his agent "Don't sign yet. We're looking to sign a CB early. If we do we'll rescind our offer to Troy and let him be a Free agent. If he signs, he'll be doing bench time."
3. The Giants make a move to get in front of the Rams specifically to take a CB. What did the Giants know, or think they know? Only 2 possibilities I can see is that they thought either the Seahawks, Rams or Pats would take him. If they were afraid of another team, or the Patriots, they probably could have traded with the Rams or Pats for a better price.
4. We know how many CB's they had in to visit
