bottom line on the NFC Championship

The media loves to fan the flames of controversy. They did so by repeatedly showing a misleading view of the play in which it is hard to tell when the ball arrives relative to when contact occurred. It was a bang-bang play, and the receiver got up and went back to the huddle without complaint. It could have been called pass interference, but as we all know there were other crucial plays in that game in which a penalty could have been called and, if so, would have probably allowed the Rams to score a TD rather than a FG. There has also been talk of helmet to helmet on the controversial play. This is something that is called in some cases but is ignored in some cases. There was a play in which one of the Rams received a worse blow to the helmet that wasn't called. Let the Saints and their fans sit home and stew about it. I don't care. The Rams are in the Super Bowl, and they deserve to be there.
