So the field is going to be wet.

Doesn't matter if it's raining during the game or not, field conditions sound like they might be a bit sloppy.

Who/what does this favor?

Well, either running game can benefit if they run straight ahead. Sharp cuts could be a liability.

Smarts and technical soundness will benefit more than athleticism.

Play designs that force defenders to try to change direction. The jet sweep could be effective, both when carried out and faked.
Double moves could leave defenders on the ground and receivers wide open.

This is when I wish the Rams had an Alshon Jefferey type. Big guy with good timing who can win a lot of jump balls.

Kupp would have benefited. I think Robert Woods will as well. Maybe Higbee. Cooks not so much.

Pass rush will be slowed. At least quick moves, maybe not bull rushes. This might give both QB's a little more time. I'll take that trade-off.

What think you?
