I was watching GMFB and they were discussing which team is more dangerous the Cowboys or the Rams
Kyle said he thought Dak was ready and has shown it the last several weeks. He said Goff looked so shaky down the stretch against the Bears and Eagles its really sticking with him. He said he doesn't know if Goff is ready and he knows Dak is.
I think that the Cowboys are likely going to try and take the run game away Gurley/Anderson and say have at it Goff until he shows he can hurt them
IMO this game will come down to three things McVay, Rams pass protection, and Goff. Will McVay have Goff ready? Will the offense be varied? Will the Rams implement 12, 21, or 22 personnel?
Sometimes the Rams are going to have to just line up and either pass or run the ball... no jet sweep, no play action. Can they do that? When Goff is pressured is he going to panic and look lost?
The last time we played two good teams McVay and Goff and the Rams were embarrassed and that what most outside of this board remember and on National TV.
We are going to need a big game from our QB. Not big yards necessarily... but timely and clutch throws. When they get it close in finish.
I have no idea what we are going to see from Goff... but I know he cannot be the turnover machine we saw against the Eagles and Bears
I'd like to see him come out and look like Tirbisky and Foles... not perfect...but clutch and composed and not look like its too big for him.
Fingers crossed... lets see if this kid can rise to the occasion.
