I am not trying to panic but to see them go into a panic offensively, my gosh, A. Whitworth had two false starts and they were ABUSED all night on the OL. J. Goff looked like a little lost sheep back there and T. Gurley was left to fume, and rightfully so.
11 carries in a pretty tight game?
They cannot stop the run with below average LBers who are tiny (225 lb Barron ($9mm/year), Littleton (230 lbs. maybe), Brockers and Suh are average at best making $14mm (Suh) and $11m (Brockers) this year. A. Donald left to be tripled teamed.
They better hope they stay in LA or New Orleans slips up, and as much as I have enjoyed this season and 11-2, they are way too soft to win a Super Bowl unless thy somehow finesse teams through three playoff games...
Yes, they might end up 14-2 as PHI, ARI and SF are majorly flawed, but the BIG question is can they beat the really good teams?
They will have to face either CHI, DAL, SEA or NO, and all four can stop the run...not good..
The OL needs to look in the mirror and really dig deep, because they were embarrassing...
We shall see what resolve they have this week....on national TV...
