There is no potential Superbowl team that doesn't have flaws and warts.
The Rams are having Defense issues, no doubt. The good news is that the return of the answer to their main problem....the secondary....is about 2 or 3 games away. But man, that offense. It helps make up for a porous defense.
The Saints, too, have a Defense that is erratic and up and down. They, too, have an offense that can practically score at will.
The Pats also have a Defense that is not up to Pats standards. They also have Tom Brady who can make up for a lot of deficiencies.
The KC Chiefs, similar to the Rams and Saints.
The Eagles simply aren't playing as well as they did last year, with every break going their way. Their D, O, and STs are a notch down from last year.
I could go on, but to me their is no team that is top flight on the O and D. Every one of them this year have issues that can pop up game to game. Or with the loss of the crucial player.
A very open race to the Big Dance, in my view, but no clear cut favorite.
So we're just going to have to live with the issues the Rams are dealing with on D until they're addressed in the off season.
