How much did you love our OL and RBs grinding it out in the 4th Q? Damn. Good, old-fashioned football.
I know--that 1 drive was wrecked by numerous flags. (Gotta watch again to evaluate the calls.) Which was frustrating because we were churning through their DL. Then, after the FG, we went out and powered the ball through the last 3.5 minutes or so. Bam. Bam. Bam. Bam.
I love that so bloody much! It's a tremendous way to salt away a win with a lead against a great QB. But apart from that … I just love that sort of football. It's really, really hard to impose your will that way these days. But we have the OL and RBs (MB was good, too!) to do it. Beautiful.
