The Rams beat the Cardinals, 34-0. The Rams improve to 40-38-2 in the all-time series record between the two franchises.
The last time the Rams started the season 2-0 was in 2001.
QB Jared Goff completed 24-of-32 passes for 354 yards, one touchdown and one interception for a passer rating of 108.1.
Goff’s 108.1 rating is his seventh highest rating of his career and eighth game in triple digits.
RB Todd Gurley notched three rushing touchdowns and two-point conversions for a total of 22 points.
Gurley now has 39 career touchdowns (32 rushing, seven receiving).
Gurley’s three rushing touchdowns are tied for the second-highest single game touchdown total in his career. Gurley registered three touchdowns against San Francisco (9/21/17) and four touchdowns at Seattle (12/17/17).
Gurley now ranks seventh on the Rams all-time rushing list with 3,446. He passed Les Josephson, who had 3,407 rushing yards and trails Dan Towler for sixth place (3,493).
WR Brandin Cooks tallied seven receptions for 159 yards. Marked his 10th career game with 100-plus yards and first as a Ram.
Cooks notched a 57-yard reception from Goff, which is the Rams’ longest offensive play in the first two games of the season.
The Rams three two-point conversions are the second-most made in a game in franchise history. The most two-point conversions made in a game is four (vs. Atlanta, 10/15/2000). Last time the Rams had a two-point conversion was a pass from QB Nick Foles to TE Jared Cook (vs. San Francisco, 11/1/15).
OLB Samson Ebukam registered a sack on QB Sam Bradford. Marked Ebukam’s first sack of the season and third career.
Sam Shields intercepted Bradford and returned it 22 yards. Marked his first interception as a Ram and 19th career.
According to press box statistics, S John Johnson led the team in tackles with seven (six solo).
KR JoJo Natson notched a 60-yard kickoff return, the longest of his career. Previously, his longest kickoff return was 32 yards as a member of the New York Jets (11/26/17).
Natson returned six punts for 133 yards and a 22.2-yard average.
P Johnny Hekker kicked his first career field goal, a 20-yard attempt. WR Cooper Kupp served as the holder.
Hekker also punted two times for 102 yards, including one punt placed inside the 20-yard line.
