I suspect that Perez makes the practice squad

Not sure if he can play much, but he is a good story, a pro-level bowler who did not play football until senior year in HS and then took a very twisty path to the NFL.

Plus, there are very few Hispanic QBs out there, and with LA having a very large Hispanic population, it is good marketing as well.
