The Rams have shown that they are among the NFL's top teams and are knocking at the door of a Superbowl appearance.
So it is time for them to segue from the youth movement (2nd youngest team in the NFL) and add whatever vet presence they need in spots and roles to get over the hump.
I'm not exactly saying they should look to trade draft picks for players (like with Watkins) because the draft is a significant tool to control the cap. At the same time, if there is good value of trading a draft pick for a vet player at position of need they should probably lean that direction. The rebuild is over and it is time for the youth to step up and for the Rams to have a win-now mentality instead of "we're close" mentality. And I think that as far as the "win-now" mentality, that exactly is where Sean McVay is at. The future is now. For the foreseeable future the goal ought to be "this year the Superbowl" with record and division title merely the means of getting there.
