As down as I was last night and critical of some of our game plan or strategies. I am reminded that momentum is everything. We lost momentum resting players the prior week. Team still took a loss no matter who we fielded.
We lost momentum in the game with stellar defense early then our Special teams collapse centered around our star returner changed and altered our mind set and trajectory. No room for error and that is not just something coaches can plan on or around. Hard to answer as players tighten up and begin to feel the pressure.
This loss stings but we have the right coach and personnel to be even stronger and build greater momentum in 2018 and beyond.
