Resting the OL makes good sense

Whitworth... has played well but is wearing down. He's been more susceptible to the speed rush than at the beginning of the season. Saffold - abdominal injury in the last game, did not return. Sullivan - hand injury in the last game but came back in.

How much of our winning season can be attributed to the OLine playing lights out? They flashed a stat in the Rams-Titans game where the Rams were the only team in the NFL to have started the same 5 OL in every game.

I feel that this is huge. Getting our big uglies a breather is huge. Tree and Barron will benefit also.

Having said that, I'd like to see Goff get more reps, but not behind the 2nd string OL.

I think that McVay has his finger on the pulse of this team, and it's the right call, IMHO.
