If I were given a vote for coach of the year so far it would be Zimmer. He lost 2 starting quarterbacks, all-world running back, and still is in first place.
He also badly outcoached McVay yesterday.
I'm not being negative. I think McVay is a good coach that is going to be a great one. I just hate when people hand players and coaches the mantle of greatness before they achieve anything.
Watkins has to prove that he's a legitimate number one wide receiver. Kupp has to prove that he has the best hands on the team. McVay has to prove that he is coach of the year.
Personally, I am very pleased with where we are sitting after 10 games. I just hate it when people assume things before they actually happen on the field of play.
