If the Rams want a guy who can line up in the backfield, run the ball, run/fake on jet sweeps, and excel on screen passes/bubble screens, here's the guy.
Smith has over 4,000 yards rushing and 132 receptions in his college career. He's quick, shifty, fast and has a nose for the end zone (45 TDs in his career).
Given his size, he'll be labeled as "not an every down back," so he'll probably go on Day 3 (depending on his 40 time, which most estimate will be in the 4.45-4.50 range).
He's the type of player I could see taking Tavon's role if the Rams decide to move on from his contract (not weighing in on whether they should do so, just providing an option).
He also could be a cheaper version of Lance Dunbar, if that's a role the Rams are looking to fill.
