A thought on spending tons of cash on free agents

If ever there was a case to be made for not spending mucho deniro on free agents to solve your problems as an NFL team it is the NY Giants.

Wasn't it just 2016 the Giants spent millions to sign about 5 guys for their defense and while they went 11-5 in 2016 where are the Giants today? And don't give me a sob story about the WRs getting hurt either. Because the Giants ship was sinking prior to that.
