Goff started in college as a true 18 year old Freshman and never missed a start in his 3 years at Cal.
He's not missed a start as a Pro; and considering how he was beaten and battered last year, that's quite a testament to his toughness and his ability to (somehow) stay healthy.
When we look around the league and see the injuries to players (QBs included) often we'll find that they have had an injury history.
DeShawn Watson, for instance, who just tore his ACL also tore his ACL in college.
Rogers has broken his collarbone before.
I"m not saying that Goff is immune. But I am saying that a QB (or any player) has little chance to become really good unless they stay healthy and play the games. And Goff's history is that he stays healthy. Knock on wood.
