Rams at Jaguars Postgame Notes (10-15-17)

- The Rams beat the Jaguars, 27-17, and improved to 4-2 on the season.

- Rams are one-of-five teams in the NFL that are undefeated on the road this season: Rams (3-0), Patriots (3-0), Chiefs (3-0), Panthers (3-0), Falcons (2-0).

- QB Jared Goff completed 11-of-21 passes for 124 yards and one touchdown for an 86.2 passer rating.

- RB Todd Gurley tallied 116 rushing yards on 23 carries for 5.0-yard average. Gurley has three 100-plus yard games this season and eight career.

- WR Robert Woods led the team in receiving yards with 70 on five receptions.

- WR Pharoh Cooper returned the opening kickoff 103 yards for a touchdown. Last time the Rams had a kickoff returned for a touchdown was CB Chris Johnson on October 9, 2005, for 99 yards.

- Cooper’s return is tied for the third longest kickoff returned for touchdown in franchise history. Two players have returned kickoffs for 105 yards (Jon Arnett and Travis Williams). Cooper’s 103 yard return is tied with Tony Horne and Tome Wilson for third longest.

- Rookie TE Gerald Everett notched his first career touchdown on a 4-yard pass from Goff.

- CB Nickell Robey-Coleman intercepted Bortles and returned it 31 yards. Marked Robey-Coleman’s second interception of the season. This is the second consecutive season that Robey-Coleman has nabbed two interceptions in a single season. He has five career interceptions.

- OLB Connor Barwin sacked Bortles for a loss of seven yards. Marked his third sack of the season, 53.5 career.

- LB Mark Barron earned his first sack of the season on Bortles for a 2-yard loss. Barron has eight career sacks.

- DT Aaron Donald sacked Bortles for his second of the season. Donald has 30 career tackles.

- DE Morgan Fox sacked Bortles to push his season total to 2.5.

- DT Michael Brockers nabbed his second sack of the season on Bortles. Brockers has 16.5 career sacks.

- LB Cory Littleton blocked a Jaguars’ punt and RB Malcolm Brown scooped it up and ran it in for touchdown. Marks Brown’s second touchdown of the season.

- Marks the first time in franchise history that the Rams blocked a punt and returned a kickoff for a touchdown and returned a kickoff for a touchdown in a single game. The last team to accomplish that feat was Denver (9/29/13).

- The last Ram to block a punt was former RB Chase Reynolds (1/1/17).

- K Greg Zuerlein converted two field goals (56, 29) Coming into today’s game, Zuerlein led the NFL in scoring and he added nine points today, pushing his season total to 69.

- P Johnny Hekker punted seven times for 322 yards. He placed four punts inside the 20-yard line and had a long of 67 yards.
