This Rams team strikes me as perhaps the most disciplined in years, and one that takes "good sportsmanship" seriously. They seem to have left the "chippy" behavior Fisher promoted behind.
I never liked that style. Always wanted to root for my Rams on several levels, beyond just winning. I wanted them to win in the "right" way, too and to be able to respect them as individual players and as a team. No cheap shots. No questionable play. Like, when the Rams had Merlin and he would go up against someone like Conrad Dobler. I just can't stand "dirty" players or play, and when a team rises above that, it must makes winning all the sweeter.
Proud of this team. Really, really proud of them.
