Hate to say the biggest game of the year comes the 1st day of October but I think this is true.
This is the biggest game for the Rams franchise in 14 years. Beat the Cowboys and beat them decisively in Jerry World and the Rams have instantly become the darlings of the NFC. No other team will have the kind of momentum the Rams will have. A win over Dallas and a win over the Seahawks on the 8th and the Rams may have the most control over the NFC West and their own destiny, the likes of which they have not enjoyed since 2001. Yes they won the NFC West in 2003 but they were not dominant.

And the Rams have a 2 game lead in the West heading into Week 5.
All that is why a win is pivotal. A loss is not devastating but a win is so much more to the Rams advantage.
