I did not care for the way the defense was handled in the preseason as some other posters said at the time. There is no substitute for playing in a game even if it's preseason for starters especially with new positions and schemes being implemented. Add in AD absence and it is not that much of a surprise that they are off to a less than stellar start.
That said I they did do what was needed last night. IMO they will be OK after a couple more games. They definitely need health across the board and could use a bit more in the CB area IMO as well. Good game tho and a game we could not have had in the recent past. Like what Todd said to the big mouth at the table after the game too.....Have not heard that type talk in some time about an upcoming opponent.
