Under Fishface, the only difference in the score these two had was by how much we would lose.
Once we become a playoff entity, people will start to sit up and take notice when Hekker downs all 5 of his punts inside the 20 (vs IND) and GZ booms a few from over 50yds to seal the win.
Now that we have an offense that can put a few points on the board, our D and ST will start to get some cred, and deservedly so.
My yardstick has always been to play in meaningful games after Thanksgiving, which is why I was so critical of the Fishface regime.
I know I may be jumping the broom a little early, but I think Hekker and GZ are going to be making meaningful kicks come January.
