Well, like everybody else, I'm thrilled by the Wade hire.
No disrespect intended for GW, mind you. But Wade's D seems more steady. Fewer big plays will be allowed. Probably will get off the field sooner than GW's bend but don't break philosophy.
But there are two other exciting aspects to Wade's D that are really appealing to me.
1) Wade emphasizes ints. Very aggressive in that regard, and we got 2 pick 6's yesterday. How exciting is that?
2) Wade emphasizes strip fumbles and recovery. We could see it in the PS and yesterday it resulted in a fumble and safety. Stopped a Colt drive and nearly resulted in a Ram TD. Talk about dramatic game changing plays.
I'm telling you, this Wade D is gonna be fun to watch this year. Wade has his strategies and he certainly has some players on that D. Stay tuned, y'all.
