Why?
Sean McVay, and studs at every skill position.
Goff's top 2017 weapons:
1) A healthy Sammy Watkins in 80 degree heat
2a) Cooper Kupp (Jarvis Landry 2.0 with more TDs)
2b) Todd Gurley out of the backfield
3) Gerald Everett (Hunter Henry 2.0 in a starting role)
4) The lanky kid from A&M who catches everything thrown his way. You'll know his name soon enough if you don't already.
5) and Robert Woods (another Trojan) finally checks in at #5
Honorable mention:
-Tavon in the Az-Zahir Hakim role
-Mike Thomas (re-watch the college highlights)
-Temmarick Hemingway (yeah, he passes Higbee as a threat on passing downs)
-Justin Davis (too bad he's a Trojan, otherwise I'd rank him higher on this list)
Bold predictions:
-Goff is Matt Ryan 2.0 as early as this season, and Joe Montana by the time he retires.
-Sammy Watkins stays healthy for the first time in his career and outpaces Julio Jones in total yards, and YAC. Doesn't quite pace him in TDs due to plethora of weapons at Goff's disposal in red zone.
-Gurley doesn't quite make his 1,500/1,000 prediction in 2017, but comes close with 1,200/900. Too many weapons on this team.
A message to Pete Carroll: take notes on how to build a DYNASTY, not a good franchise, from The Kid.
