I think I've never heard the phrase "so far" as much as I have in the last few weeks and it is coming from McVay, Goff, Vinny B, and just about everybody closely associated with the team.
So far Jared has done a nice job.
So far the players are highly attentive to detail.
So far the offense has improved every day.
So far Jamon Brown is outplaying GRob.
On and on and on.
But, I get it. After all these years of losing, and after coaching changes and high draft pick failures, etc., it is wise to realize that running around in shorts and installing offenses and defenses in June is not a Fall Sunday afternoon when the bullets are flying for real.
I'd much rather have this attitude than some rah-rah baloney about how this team is going to be a real terror, and NFC West look out, and all that.
The Rams need to prove it. The good news is, they seem to know it from Kroenke down to the equipment guy.
Refreshing. And it always some reasonable measure of hope.
