I went to the meeting Monday Night....from 7:30 to 9:30....16 people in our group....16 no shows.....there were 7 Ram fans, 4 Charger fans, 4 fans of neither team ( they just wanted the NFL experience) and 1 ticket broker....
They started with a powerpoint with a list of 15 things that we could choose 2 from.... that were most important to us .....Cost, closeness to field, seat comfort, restrooms, wifi, restaurants, tailgating , etc.....almost everyone said COST and something else.....then they got to what the meeting was really about....PSL's
They started by showing what PSL's costed in Dallas, San Fran and New York....outrageous $$$$ .... up to $ 150,000 in Dallas...they also showed Minnesota and Atlanta.....this was obviously to soften us up for the new Stadium PSL prices.... which they wanted us to think were a bargain....hahahahahahha!
They started by showing a map of the stadium seating....and highlighted all the different areas and asked everyone individually....how much would YOU PAY for a PSL to sit in this area? ....then they revealed the prices....staying away from the CLUB SEATS....which are basically from the 5 yd. line to 5 yd. line on each side....and every section had a High to Low price for PSL's ( and coinciding game ticket prices)
End Zone lower area, ranged from $ 2,700 to $ 6,000....depending how low you were and how close you were to rounding the corner....cheapest PSL's were nosebleeds....$ 500 - $ 1000....and they expect to sell through....meaning all seats will be PSL's ...no seats without ( ticket broker guy frowned and got laughed at ! )....Club Seat PSL's ranged from $ 6000 to $ 100,000... God only knows how much suites will be..
Payments will be made in three ways starting this fall.....of course, pay in full....three years no interest ( must be paid by stadium opening ) , 10 year payments with 8 percent interest....PSL is good for 50 years...
So....Basically the seats I have now at the 30 yd line, 25 rows up at the Colesium will be $ 25,000 PSL's.....hahahahaha!
It kinda felt like a timeshare meeting by the time we got outta there....with everyone shaking their heads....
