Assuming Williams, Davis and Ross are gone, if the Rams go WR at 37, the logical pick is Zay Jones because he is an outside WR. There is no point to picking up an inside guy or a possession guy because the Rams have several of those. I suppose one could say Smith-Schuster instead (I think Jones is the better player), but even so Smith-Schuster also plays on the outside. And outside is where the Rams need help.
Zay Jones is going to go earlier than some mock drafts say; he is a slick WR who plays angry, runs fast, runs good routes, has good hands and a playmaker's heart and mindset. Nice size (nothing outstanding). His only downside is that he didn't play at a big school.
My hope is still that Engram is there at 37 (probably less than 50/50 chance); if he is I think Engram is the pick.
