I just watched his life story.
I remember us drafting him the day I was due to sail off to the Caribbean on my honeymoon in 96 and being pumped.
Looking at film of the guy, he was incredible. What a waste.
When he died I know one or two people were dismissive, but watching the story I couldn't help but feel bad for the guy even though he acted in a disgusting manner.
Mental illness, which he obviously had, is so difficult for normal people to understand and it's way to easy to label people as 'bad' or even evil'.
I think LP was a man struggling to deal with two sides of himself and any way you look at it imho, it's truly sad.
There is nothing either good or bad, but thinking makes it so.
