Player Development....and new HC

With all the chat about hopes and expectations for our new head coach, it made me think about player development.

We're getting pretty close to outright calling G Robinson a bust, Gurley nothing like first year, most of the OL regressing, WR pretty lame and so on. There has been a lot of chat over the last few years that Fisher's staff have not been good at developing players. In particular thinking of G Robinson (who I was ok with but really wanted Sammy Watkins/Khalil Mack), he was said to be green and needing seasoning/developing in the intricacies of a Pro offence. And what do we do, throw 3 different OC at him in his first three years - not dissimilar to Bradford's experiences! Schottenheimer, Cignetti and then Boras.............and we wonder why his head might be still spinning?

What I hope for is that we get it right enough with our new HC and OC to give Goff some stability to develope!!
