It makes zero sense that it wouldn't be announced.
He is in all effects a "lame duck" coach at this point.

Today's players don't respect it. If he had the extension they'd announce it...It takes players quitting on coach/team out of the equation.
If anything I'd say Stan is doing a pretty good job of making Fisher twist in the wind.
He is gone has to be....I just don't understand any reason not to announce.....some have speculated it's written in he has to reach certain amount of wins?
I don't buy it a 15 yr + head coach doesn't sign off on things like that.
I think more likely somewhere along the line of the move Stan/Demoff gave Fisher a verbal assurance they would get something done....and probably planned on it.
Nobody banked on the season going so far south and now Fisher is thinking to himself so this is why they call him
"Silent Stan"
