Goff playing is not about saving 2016 season

I said this a week ago and some of you didn't believe me. Keep in mind that this was his first game action and most of what I have heard from media and other sources is he did some very good things in this game. It was a lack of either confidence or lack of imagination on the part of Boras and Fisher in the play calling which was appalling.


What is left of the season is about getting Goff up to speed for 2017. That's all. Fisher is done and I bet he knows it. There is no way Kroenke and Demoff can justify keeping Fisher and his staff.

This is about Goff.

The interest will be to see how much he develops with each game. Remember what you saw on Sunday and compare it to where he is in the last game vs AZ in January.
