He is playing at half speed and only seems to get the obvious yards but is not impacting the game like his rookie season, Having seen us change starting Runners 4 times in 5 years I can say with confidence that last year's Gurley would have still been more impressive this year. I have been defending him and blaming his OL and they deserve it but he is not breaking enough tackles with power or showing the elusiveness of an elite RB. He is more or less running like he is just trying not to get hurt. He is favoring himself or thinking too much not playing as angry or hungry. I am becoming less of a fan of his and I think he has been as much of the reason for that as have the usual suspects. I am starting to believe you cannot build around his style of running, Its not power or elusiveness and well it must be speed over quickness but he is not staying on his feet either. What say you? What are you seeing?
