Ram's MVP

October 16, 2016 02:35PM
After watching today's game, I became convinced of one thing. The Ram's most valuable players are Quinn, Donald and Gurley in that order. Don't get me wrong, I love Aaron as a player but a fully healthy Quinn brings more to the table than Donald does. I have seen peak Quinn and peak Donald separately and on the rare occasion together. The Ram's defense is better with peak Quinn than they are with peak Donald. It is just harder to scheme against an elite edge rusher than it is against an elite interior one.
Now elite interior pass rushers are more rare but that doesn't change the fact that the Lions were able to scheme Donald and had time to pick the secondary apart. Peak Quinn hides the secondaries deficiencies better. We need Quinn back ASAP, and need another above average DE next year.
