College friend of mine surprised me with a signed Jim Everett jersey in the mail. His company had an executive event in LA last Thursday and had a bunch of current and former Rams there for a meet-and-greet, autographs, etc. Dickerson, Everett, Donald, Austin and "some young guys."
He said Tavon Austin was a good guy- very engaging with kids, asking people about themselves, doing anything anyone asked.
And interesting enough, he said Austin walked into the event with his left arm in a sling. Took it off when he arrived before pictures so it wouldn't get out in the media. So maybe Tavon deserves some credit for playing Sunday with a bad wing...
