I was sort of thinking it was ok to get radical, drop the old game plan and go for it, and if it doesn't work it is a 'drop' game---meaning it is not worth it trying to win this game using the 'same old game plan'. Also, Keep Donald and Quinn fresh because we can win the next three after AZ.
THis doesn't mean to give up, but to save some bullets for the three we can win. Fisher doesn't think like that, especially
with divisinional games, I know, but this team may need to reload...and after 2 highly draining games, this will probably be a let down game.
This sounds wimpy, however, what I would mean is why not get radical and put up 30 points again!! I mean after AZ got trounced, you know the Cards are putting up 23-37 points this week.....I would guess 34, based on our corners (depends a lot on EJ Gaines!).
What does radical mean? Take risks: Using crossing patterns, TEs down the seam (Higbee time!). Get Gurley out in single coverage on the edge against a linebacker/safety, and throw a few jump balls when it is 3rd and 15......something kind of modern.
Last years game in AZ was amazing, but I just don't see that being duplicated, especially with AZ looking so bad last week.
Also, I mean, give Donald 65% of the snaps, not 85%....and throw the ball like we have, aggressively.
Play man coverage on AZ, and double cover that 4.25 WR they have....stop all the bad zones, Palmer has the arm and the football intelligence to make us look stupid. Ya, sounds easy, lol! I am Greg...lol
I know all of this sounds foolish, but we will get AZ's best game of the year...and they are a 12-4 talent team, while we are 8-8....at least until Goff gets off the ground---so when do we get a little radical?
INterested in your take.....and ya, I know I sound stupid, so give me the answer to beatin AZ on the score board, not just beatin' them down them like we like!
