Spruce - non-evaluative or speculative...

These kind of posts don't happen often... but I like them.

Imagine you're Spruce... you're on the fringe.... you've probably called home and let your family know that this could be it... one shot at being on TV, playing in the Pros, and the next thing you know -

You're on fire and 90,000 fans, in a PRESEASON GAME MIND YOU, are on their feet chanting "Spruuuuuuuuuccccceeeeee". It's a GREAT sports moment... if you took the time to set aside your evaluative eye for a moment, or even if you didn't, and appreciated that a young man was living a 'dream'. It's much like I feel watching a lot of the Olympic athletes who suddenly find their efforts not only noticed, but applauded. It was a treasured moment, no matter what lies ahead. - JamesJM
