Birds are chirping, the sun is shining, it's good to be alive.

Today is the day that 11 Rams walk onto a field and actually play some real football! Even if it's inconsequential, it's guys fighting for spots and working to prove their value. It's a small sampling of coaches' schemes being tested and refined. It's players playing their hearts out for glory and money. I love it.

Unlike many, I'm not expecting to see anything from which I can draw conclusions.

But I think assembling all four preseason games in totality will help us get a bead on just what kind of team McVay will field for us.

I occasionally joke that an experience occurring after my brain injury is happening "for the first time". Often there seems to be such a wide chasm between a current experience and one remembered from before the accident that it's almost like someone else experienced it and then just told me about it.

So with that in mind, let me say: I AM NOW READY TO SEE RAMS FOOTBALL FOR THE FIRST TIME!
