and can't help but smile a little... we are headed in opposite directions.... I'm trying to get away from the learning curve with tech. 
I did two things on my electronic kit...no, wait, maybe 5 things.... in getting away from default settings. I added a cowbell and clap to the kit I use the most... and I adjusted the default volume settings to the cymbals. But other than that I play them as they came.
