Actually anyone can catch this thing. It's the morbidity rate that soars in older or more susceptible people. Of course the players will want to protect themselves as they should. They do play a risky sport with a lot of violent contact already but they should be protected as much as possible from additional risk. I think some sort of full shield should work. The best way to protect them is by covering their faces. Now, the trick is making them not steam up so they can see and it seems their working on that. If they can protect the players through better equipment and testing then the season can be played.
Agreed. Not sure about the N95 thing, but a full shield face would surely help and should be pretty easy to produce. It won't stop it it 100% but will still help.
#HelmetHornsMatter
“Well, the color is good, I like the metallic blue,” Youngblood recently said while laughing, via NFL Journal. “The horn is terrible. It looks like a ‘C.’ When I first saw it on the logo I honestly thought it was a Charger logo.
“Now when I see it on the helmet, it just isn’t a ram horn. There is no distinct curl like a mature ram horn. I don’t know how the Rams could get that wrong. That is your symbol and it has been for what? Seventy years or more? Longer than I have been alive? It’s just not us, it’s not the Rams.”---Mr. Ram Jack Youngblood
