We only get B2's and the other good stuff during air shows.. Maybe every once in a blue moon something will fly in - Blackhawk helicopters, Ospreys (man, they shake the ground!) even a 747 carrying the space shuttle once.. and other cool stuff.. I'm always just in awe of everything.. We have lots of 15's, 16s, A-10's, KC-135s, C-17s etc here, but most are for training and won't actually fly anymore.. But I'll tell ya, its EXHILARATING to sit in the cockpit of one of those bad boys, even tho it won't fly...

Yeah, your helicopter dudes are probably still telling that story! I know I would be.. Since I work with Public Affairs, I get to see all the emails we get from people in town complaining about T-38's buzzing their houses out in the country.. and, seriously, these people have either started, or are about to start opening fire on our aircraft.. they are PISSED.. We get emails cussing us out left and right, threatening to shoot down our planes.. usually followed by "Rot in hell - have a nice day"... I LOVE those emails.. we crack up over them every time they come in.. but we also hafta report them..
