My oldest Son, this time, had a recent MRI and just like my youngest, almost 9 years ago, has lesions on his brain. The MRI stems from hearing tests to join the Navy. Our ENT thought it'd be good to see if there's any nerve damage with his hearing. THAT is ok but they spotted the lesions. Obviously, his Brother has them and his Mom has them. PRETTY certain he has the same thing.......But I feel uneasy anyway. I said it several years ago and I'll say it again...Spring of 2011 was THE most afraid I have ever been in my life. Just the word Leukodystrophy (What had to be ruled out with my youngest) still makes me feel weird.
Almost certain it is nothing but a genetic thing but I am VERY VERY eager to know for sure. Here comes another few weeks of worry.
