We saw Bob James and David Sanborn this past summer performing in their "Double Vision Revisited" concert. It was fantastic. Great venue and we had really good seats. I've never seen Lee Ritenour in concert but I've seen Fourplay in concert several times. There used to be jazz concerts in St Louis all the time back in the 90's and I went to a ton of them but when smooth jazz radio stations died, the concerts dried up, too. Frank and I hadn't been to a concert in about 10 years so we were downright giddy that two concerts were scheduled in St Louis this past summer (the other one was Brian Culbertson and Eric Darius). We went to both of them and had such a fantastic time. Brought back a lot of memories. Word is that the promoter plans to bring in a couple more concerts next summer so we're looking forward to that.
