I don't have a link, wish to hell I did.. watched a video today of a little girl who has Down-Syndrome. There is a couple here locally that has adopted, I think this is their third, children with Down-Syndrome. This was their adopted daughter.
She was playing volleyball and this was her debut... as the 'server'. She set up perfectly, went thru the correct body motions to a tee, mimicking all her teammates whom she idolizes.
Then she paused, the energy building, then tossed the ball straight into the air without hitting it and when the ball landed, at her feet. she did her best celebratory dance. And the team joined in....
The pride on her face was delicious. She was part of the team. - JamesJM
