that I have my very earliest dive logs from 1990 and on.. In Mexico, we still dive some of the same reefs we dove back then.. Average underwater temp on those dives in 1990 was around 77-78 degrees.. Same reefs through the years have steadily risen to around 85-86 degrees average now.. I have the rise in temps documented in my log books over the years.. So, its definitely not an anomaly or a freak thing.. its a steady rise in ocean temperatures..
