Where does that distinctive taste in IPA's come from? And Liqueurs...

February 03, 2018 05:29AM
They all have it. Most like it, I do not. Is it in the way it's brewed? Specific hops?

My son is a big Liqueur fan... and I like them as well. He has quite a selection and one night we tasted quite a few of them. This was NYE... and several of the guests in the house came from Italy... ALL of them made their own Liqueurs and being Italian they all made their own Limoncello. But these were no ordinary Limoncello's.... these had a kick, to say the least. They were delicious BUT....

The best part was the arguments they got into over whose Limoncello was the best. Ever watch Italian's argue food and drink? There should be a TV show based entirely on Italians arguing about food and drink. You think sports fans argue? Sports fans are rank amateurs in the arguing/fighting arena. And you have to get involved, you can't stay out of it... because they are going to ask you which you prefer... and demand an answer.... there is no escaping it.... and when you do... you now have a friend who will take a bullet for you and an enemy who will make it their life's goal to put the bullet into you. - JamesJM
