Or nearly so.. I have the G-Shock, Solar.. mine is a different model, I believe, but looks nearly identical. Love it. BUT... I must confess, I rarely wear it. I've never regularly worn a watch.
I'll put mine on and perhaps keep it on for a week, or so, then remove it for several months before wearing it again. Or that was my schedule... Today I can't even remember the last time I wore it.
Are you saying you can't get them any more? The G-Shock? That's tragic. - JamesJM
That model isn't made any more...it is about 8+ years old. The G-Shock series is still available and has 1000's of different models. some as high as 4000-5000 dollars. Ebay has ONE seller who is selling what amounts to be the last one for over 400 dollars. When I bought mine it was $85.00. So needless to say I am not buying that last one. All the "new G-Shocks" have really large faces. My wrist is 9" around but I don't like the large faces many watches have today.
I like wearing watches and wear an Seiko chronograph that I bought the same time as my G-Shock. The Seiko is still working.
My Grand Father game me his pocket watch....well it was given to me when I was older. Both Grand Fathers passes before I was 10. Like yours mine doesn't work either....but they are cool looking.
Here is a Titanium banded Casio G-SHOCK MRG-G1000B-1AJR that sells for $6,999.99
