most of the singers of the grunge era, which made hits out of depressing, despair oriented songs, have died somehow by their own hand.. Kurt Cobain, Layne Staley, Scott Weiland, Cris Cornell, Shannon Hoon, etc.. By comparison, 80's metal singers, who partied and did more drugs than a drug factory could produce, have remained relatively healthy with the exception of Kevin Dubrow and Jani Lane..
