it was Heart, Cheap Trick and Joan Jett.....
Of those 3 bands that night, Joan Jett's band sounded and performed the best. Joan Jett had a basic straight forward back-up band, drums, bass and guitarist ......those 3 guys were polished, tight and they rocked and supported her very well......
Ann Wilson and the rest of Heart did not pull it off that night...... she still has the pipes on occasion, but to sing and perform a set list that includes Crazy On You, Magic Man, Barracuda etc on a nightly basis can't be easy....
But Cheap Trick had the crowd in the palm of their hands..........
